The first C.O.R.E. orientation took place Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The program’s purpose is to provide information to help a new member feel comfortable and prepared for CWGA’s weekly tournaments and getting to know members of the CWGA. Topics start with an overview of the CWGA and the website. The characteristics of a CWGA/Classics event are discussed such as formats, pairings, handicaps, along with pace of play, marking cards and Golf Genius. Everyone has a chance to get on their phones to work with ForeTees, GHIN and Golf Genius.
The CWGA board has successfully completed the second C.O.R.E. orientation session for new members. This program is designed to provide members with an introduction to CWGA, along with the tools and resources needed to navigate the calendar of events and play on the Classics.
